Ms.Mary Carrson was such a fabulous model! I love that dad had just as much input and ideas as I did, if not more! My favorite pictures were the ones at her stomping grounds where she was most comfortable! Thanks for a fabulous time, my little country girl!

Baby Roewan

Baby Roewan was my absolute first newborn shoot, ever! On all the blogs I stalk, the photographers just rave about how wonderful newborn shoots are and how they're their favorite! I was super excited! They look easy enough, the baby sleeps and you shoot, right? Not quite! It requires a little more patience and skill than you think, but Roewan was a trooper and didn't kick me out! After a little grub and some snuggle time he was ready to nap so i could snap! Thanks Kristin for allowing me to photograph your babies!

Tristan was nonstop from start to finish! My legs were literally sore from chasing, which doesn't say much for me except for how out of shape I am! ha! His mama brought bubbles, which was a great idea until he tried to eat them and refused to put them down! Trying to get him to sit still was not going to happen; if his bottom touched the ground it was literally for only seconds. He has the most gorgeous eyes and I was so honored to get to follow him around! I bet he napped hard for mom afterwards! Enjoy...

Gulfport, 2009

We planned this trip to the beach in about two seconds! It was storming in Saltillo when we headed to the coast, but it soon stopped and the whole weekend it rained back home but was sunshiny in Gulfport! Ava was thrilled with the ocean, but enjoyed the swimming pool at the hotel much more! She was soooo good during the whole trip, she especially enjoyed the part where she had a shopping spree because her mother and father left her whole packed bag at home!!!

Princess Ava finally got her gorgeous outfit together after a little trouble with the shirt. This gorgeous tutu fit her so well since it was rainbow! I LOVED the bright colors, rainbow ribbons, and matching flower headband! It was so super hot but she was such a trooper, as always!

Amber & Michael

Amber, Michael and I met downtown last Friday to, in her words, "capture the youthfulness" of their engagement. The wedding is still at least a year or two away, but there is no doubt it is going to be flawless! They were up for any idea, even though it was super hot! Thanks to Ava who tagged along and was the hat/phone/sunglasses holder during the whole thing!

Happy Mother's Day

This family of four wanted to do something super special for their mother who didn't have any pictures of the kids together! These siblings are nothing alike and that made our afternoon shoot so much fun! We climbed trees, dodged snakes, and played on the merry-go-round! Thanks Cody, Chase, Kate, and Casey for the fun filled afternoon!

Kate and I took Ava downtown New Albany for picture with her cap and gown. This time I only had to bribe her with a Barbie kite! She was such a sport and I can't believe she's growing up so fast! Thanks to Katlin for fixing her hair and my granny for ironing her dress, even though you can't see it! Granny's are the BESTTTTT!

This is my first blogging attempt, so wish me luck! I love sharing photos and thought this would be a great way to do it! These photos were taken in Saltillo after work one day. I had to bribe Ms.Ava to wear this skirt,but it was so worth it!
